Terms

Updated 2 Nov 2026

These terms apply to every order placed on this website ("Gamequay", "we", "us"). The business that runs Gamequay is named at the foot of every page, with its registered address and its registration and VAT numbers. You can reach us through the contact form.

What we sell

Gamequay sells digital products: activation keys for games, add-ons (DLC) and software, gift cards, and some game accounts. You use them on a third-party platform such as Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo or the publisher's own launcher. The product page says what you receive, which platform it works on and in which countries it can be activated.

We are a reseller, not the publisher of the game or the operator of the platform. The platform's own terms apply when you redeem a key or use an account, and the platform decides what your account may do.

Region

Many keys work only in some countries. Before you pay, we check the billing country you give at checkout against the countries the key is blocked in, and we do not sell you a key that cannot be activated there. Please enter your real billing country: a key bought for another country may not work for you.

Prices and payment

Prices are in euro (EUR) and include VAT where it applies.

You pay by card on the secure payment page of our payment provider, Trezuz. We never see or store your card details. The price is fixed when you start the payment; if a price changed in the meantime, checkout shows the new price and asks you to confirm it before you pay.

Promo codes: one code per order. Each code has its own conditions (minimum order, validity dates, number of uses), shown when you apply it. A code has no cash value.

You can order up to 9 of one product and up to 10 different products in one order, as long as they are in stock.

The contract and delivery

Your order is confirmed when your payment is confirmed to us by the payment provider. We then buy your keys and show them on your order page, usually within a minute. If you ordered as a guest, the order page opens in the same browser and through the link we email you. Emails contain a link to your order, never the key itself.

Keys stay hidden on the order page until you choose to reveal them. Pre-order keys arrive on the release day of the product.

If we cannot deliver a key, for example because it went out of stock in the meantime, we tell you and refund the payment in full. The refund policy explains every case in which you can get your money back.

Your right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the European Union you may withdraw from an order within 14 days without giving a reason, for as long as its keys stay hidden. Revealing a key starts the delivery of the digital content, and you agree at checkout that you lose the right of withdrawal for that key once you reveal it. A key that does not work is covered by the refund policy whether you revealed it or not.

Your account

You can buy without an account. If you create one, give your real email address, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. One account per email address. You must be old enough to buy online in your country, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

We may close an account or refuse an order when we have good reason to think it is used for fraud, resale against these terms, or to get around the region rules.

Using keys

Redeem each key once, on the platform it is made for, following the platform's instructions. Do not share or resell keys bought on Gamequay. A key that was redeemed cannot be redeemed again.

Liability

We are responsible for delivering a working key for the product you ordered, in the region shown. We are not responsible for the games, software or platforms themselves, for changes a publisher or platform makes after you buy, or for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Changes and law

We may update these terms. The version shown when you place an order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the law of the country where the business that runs Gamequay is registered. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
